The CommBank ParaMatildas will come together for a national team camp at Valentine Sports Park (VSP) from 6–8 February, marking an important step in the squad’s preparations for the 2026 IFCPF Women’s World Cup.
The camp coincides with the third edition of the Football NSW Club Development Conference, taking place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, also at VSP. The Conference brings together community clubs from across the state, offering education, insights, and practical tools to strengthen club environments and support sustainable participation growth.
As part of the Conference program, two ParaMatildas players, Tahlia Blanshard and Carly Salmon, and a staff member will feature on a panel discussing “Creating Positive Environments for Players with a Disability.” Their contribution will highlight lived experience, best‑practice inclusion strategies, and the importance of fostering safe, supportive pathways for athletes with disability at all levels of the game.
This will be the first camp of the year for the CommBank ParaMatildas, as the Women’s World Cup reigning champions begin the quest to defend their title at this year’s 2026 IFCPF Women’s World Cup.
