CommBank ParaMatildas find out IFCPF Women’s World Cup 2026 group stage opponents

The CommBank ParaMatildas have discovered their path in their IFCPF Women’s World Cup title defence following the IFCPF draw overnight. Australia was drawn into Group B alongside the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland and Colombia.

Atlanta, USA, will host this edition of the tournament, with Australia heading into the showpiece as the defending champions after lifting the title during the 2024 campaign in Spain.

The CommBank ParaMatildas were placed in Pot 1, alongside hosts the USA, as the top two-ranked teams heading into the tournament, and were drawn into Group B.

Alongside them in Group B is the Netherlands, who return to the Women's World Cup for the first time since the 2022 edition of the tournament, where they faced Australia. The last time the two sides faced off was during the 2025 IFCPF Women's Intercontinental Cup, with Australia recording a 6-2 victory in their path to the final.

The Republic of Ireland features in back-to-back Women's World Cups, with our one and only meeting with 'The Girls in Green' coming during the last edition of the tournament in 2024, with Annmarie De Uriarte scoring four goals in a 9-2 win in our World Cup campaign.

Colombia are one of three debutants at this World Cup, with Kenya and Finland also playing in their first-ever IFCPF Women’s World Cup.
