The CommBank ParaMatildas will assemble at Valentine Sports Park in Sydney from 14–16 August 2026 for a training camp as preparations ramp up for the IFCPF Women’s World Cup 2026 in October.
As the team's only camp before the tournament kicks off in October, it will be a vital opportunity for players and staff to build their on-field connection ahead of their World Cup title defence.
The squad features a mix of experienced internationals and emerging talent, with the return of Katelyn Smith and Trinity McPhie for the first time this year since suffering an injury during last year's National Para Football Championships in December 2025.
Briana Commisso and Leah Spaine are the only two uncapped players heading into the camp, but have been in and around training camps for the past 10 months and will be eager to impress the coaching staff.
Australia's draw for their title defence at the tournament has been confirmed, with the CommBank ParaMatildas kicking off their campaign against the Republic of Ireland, and then taking on Colombia and the Netherlands in their other two Group B fixtures.
